AfricAvenir to attend 8th DISCOP TV AFRICA 2013 as Speaker on Friday, 8 November 2013 at 11 am. Director of Namibian branch to represent Namibian films & present Namibian Movie Collection

The 8th edition of DISCOP Africa TV Market is merely four weeks away. The biggest TV market will take place from 06 to 08 November 2013 in Sandton, Johannesburg. Namibia will be presented by the director of AfricAvenir Windhoek, Hans-Christian Mahnke. He has been invited as a speaker at a DISCOP-PRO panel discussion titled: nTHE EDUTAINMENT REVOLUTION on Friday, 08 November, 11h00.
nThe panel’s theme is summarized as following: "Edutainment is the combination of educational and entertaining television programming. It enhances the values of adventure, exploration and quality of life, and it stimulates curiosity and learning worldwide. This unique session will look at the edutainment revolution that challenges audiences with intelligent, inspiring and educational television."nMahnke/AfricAvenir will present to an international audience the idea and intention behind the Namibian Movie Collection, a project of the FNCC, JoeVision Production and AfricAvenir. Mahnke will furthermore represent filmmakers from Namibia who have entered into a commercial agreement with AfricAvenir to act as agent for their films.
