Africa is sovereign and will NOT accept being re-colonized
AfricAvenir supports the petition concerning Danish Minister for Development Cooperation Christian Friis Bach’s comments on imposing conditions on African Countries in order “to get rid of local cultures and traditions that hinder the development of African agriculture.” On 09.07.2013, Bach stated in an interview in the Danish newspaper “Politiken” that he believed it necessary for countries such as Denmark to pressure African countries to comply to their conditions. nnAlong with other organisations and individuals, AfricAvenir has signed the petition in order to let Christian Friis Bach know that “Africa is sovereign and will NOT accept being re-colonized.” nThe Petition can be found at http://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/africa-is-sovereign-and-will-not-accept-being-re-colonized
