Speaking at the conference ’Paradoxes of Sustainability’ (19.-20.10.2012), Prof. Judi W. Wakhungu, director of the African Centre for Technology Studies, deliberates upon the current proliferation of renewable energies in Africa as well as the chances and risks these technologies provide for the continent. nnThe project "Paradoxes of Sustainability" is financially supported by BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development) and LEZ (Landesstelle für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit).
